Aussie X-Mas

You better watch out. You better not cry. You better not pout. I'm telling you why: Santa Claus is coming to town.

Ho-ho-ho!!!
Santa Claus is coming to town!

Unlike last year, when Christmas had been completely ignored under Sri Lankan palm trees, this year the Christmas Season came around. But in rather different way than in Europe. It was Aussie X-Mas.
On evening of 24th of December all of us, me, Irene and Olga, got afternoon off from the work, and with few more friends he headed for a typical Aussie experience: X-Mas barbecue in a park.
Instead of any traditional dinner we threw some juicy lamb on the BBQ. When it came to drinking, we were more “traditional” and following “Spanish tradition” we got loaded. Beer, wine, kalimotxo, rum, whiskey, Santa brought large portfolio of booze. There was approximately 100 people around doing pretty much the same. They were mostly foreigners, as for Australians the X-Mas is actually on 25th, so the next day all the parks were full of locals doing the same. Nice, relaxed X-Mas.

Nothing too much more to say really. We simply had a good time.
